A responsible ingredient review needs context

An ingredient name alone is not enough. Form, extraction method, amount per serving, total daily intake, study population, duration and interaction profile can all change how evidence should be interpreted.

Ingredients often discussed in metabolic-wellness products

Chromium

Chromium is an essential trace element. Research questions depend on its chemical form, dose, baseline status and population. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements notes that evidence and clinical relevance require careful interpretation.
